Derek Sung

Dere Sung, founder of A urora Muse, is currently a conductor and instrumental teacher at several primary and secondary schools, focusing on music education and performance. She has been privately teaching violin and viola since 2017, possessing eight years of teaching experience. Many of her students are currently enrolled in prestigious traditional schools, including Diocesan Girls' School, St. Paul's Co-educational College, Good Hope College, Diocesan Girls' Primary School, and Anglo-Chinese Primary School, among others.

Song began learning the violin at the age of five, and at the age of twelve, she obtained the Grade 8 Distinction in violin from the Royal Academy of Music in London. Later, she passed the examination for a viola performance diploma from Trinity College, London.

Song graduated from the Department of Music at Hong Kong Baptist University. During her studies, she served as the principal violist of the Baptist University Symphony Orchestra and Collegium Music Hong Kong, accumulating many years of orchestral performance experience. She has collaborated with various entertainment stars, including Hacken Lee and Julian Cheung.
